Wanwei Golden Beach Located on the southern edge of Wanwei Island, one of the three Jingzu Islands, this beach faces Vietnam’s renowned Van Chau Island across the sea.
The golden sand of Wanwei Beach is fine and soft, stretching naturally for miles. The beach features clear water, gentle slopes, calm waves, and is free of seaweed, sharks, and pollution. The shore gently slopes into the sea, creating a perfect harmony between the ocean and the beach, making it one of the rare natural seaside resorts in China that offers sunshine, sand, and seawater all in one place.
The Jing people, originally known as “Yue people” and historically referred to as “Jing people,” were officially designated as the Jing ethnic group in 1958. The Jing are a major ethnic group in Vietnam, and the Jing people of the Three Islands migrated from Tushan, Vietnam, between the late 15th and early 16th centuries.
Every day from early morning until afternoon, you can often see Jing fishermen using vast nets stretching for kilometers to catch fish.
Standing on the beach, with the sea breeze in your face and the blue sea before you, you can gaze southwest toward the horizon where the sea meets the sky over Vietnam. When the tide recedes, the damp sand reveals intricate wave patterns and scattered pearls, with various beach creatures, especially crabs, coming out to roam freely.
Bailang Beach, a national 4A tourist attraction, is located on the southeastern part of Jiangshan Peninsula in Fangchenggang City. It is the core scenic area of the Jiangshan Peninsula Resort. The beach stretches 5.5 kilometers long and up to 2.8 kilometers wide at its broadest point. The beach is named after the rolling white waves that constantly crash onto the shore, creating a spectacular and magnificent scene. Due to the titanium-rich sand, the beach appears white with a hint of black. A titanium sand bath is the simplest and most direct natural whitening method. By digging a pit in the sand and burying oneself in it, the sweat and other acidic substances from the body can catalyze a reaction between titanium and oxygen. After some time in the sand, the skin feels noticeably smooth, as if coated in fine cream.
