Itinerary

Day 1 Kyrgyzstan/China Border (Torugart or Irkeshtam Pass) – Kashgar
Please arrive at the border between Kyrgyzstan and China at 11 am Kyrgyzstan time. We assist you with immigration procedures for passengers and vehicles. The vehicle needs to be parked in the warehouse (parking lot) of China Customs.

We will transfer everyone to the hotel in Kashgar. The next day we will come back and drive to Kashgar. So you only need to pack what you need today.

Today’s procedure is rather cumbersome, please be patient.

Overnight: Seman hotel or Same level hotel

Day 2 Kashgar
We will drive you back to the port in the morning and you can drive/ride your vehicle to Kashgar city. Not everyone needs to go back to the port, only one driver is needed per car or motorcycle.

Visit opportunity for people who stay in Kashgar: Kashgar Old Town, local Market, the Mosquee Idkar, Abakh Hodja Tomb etc.

Shopping opportunity: medicine, oxygen, car parts. You’d better prepare car parts that need to be
replaced in your own country, cause some can’t be bought in china, especially when there is no such vehicles in china.

Overnight: Seman hotel

Day 3 Kashgar
Visiting and shopping. Today you have a whole day to visit and shop in Kashgar. You may not be able to drive or ride today.

Day 4 Kashgar – Tashkurgan County, 280km, 3100m
Drive to Tashkurgan County (Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County). Driving on kkh (Karakoram Highway). In order to develop the local tourism industry, the government has invested a lot of money in infrastructure, and today’s road conditions are very good.

We will pass villages and valleys. We will visit Kala Kule Lake on the way, and you will have chance to see the Muztagh Peak and The scenery of the Pamirs.

The altitude of Taxkorgan County is 3100m, you may have slight altitude sickness.

Overnight: Yingbinguan hotel in Tashkurgan.

Day 5 Tashkurgan – Khunjerab Pass – Pakistan (Sost Port)
In the morning, we will complete the exit procedures for passengers and vehicles in Tashkurgan, then drive 125km (2 hours) to the border Khunjerab Pass (4733m). Here again a simple check of the vehicle and passengers will be carried out before the Khunjerab Pass.

The scenery on the road today is also very beautiful.
