All exhibitors must comply with the General Regulations, which is an essential part of the stand application form.
Article 1 PLACE, DATE AND OPENING HOURS OF THE EVENT
The 22nd China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition, organized by Chongqing Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., will take place at Chongqing International Expo Center from September 13 to 16, 2024.
Opening hours: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm for general public ; 8:30 am to 6:00 pm for exhibitors.
An “Exhibitor” is defined as any individual, company, or organization that has been allocated a space by the Organizer.
Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that their staff are present at their designated stands for the entire duration of the event and throughout the opening hours.
Article 2 PERMITTED PRODUCT CATEGORIES
The exhibition permits the following product categories:
- Whole Vehicles: Includes general motorcycles, large displacement motorcycles, off-road motorcycles, special motorcycles, custom motorcycles, tricycles, four-wheel motorcycles, and more.
- New Energy Motorcycles: Covers electric motorcycles, four-wheel low-speed vehicles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric self-balancing scooters, etc.
- Motorcycle Accessories and Parts: Consists of motor engines, vehicle frames, shock absorbers, brakes, wheel hubs, sprockets, tires, oil tanks, exhaust systems, electronic devices, lights, locks, body panels, and other spare parts.
- Core Parts of Electric Motorcycles: Includes batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, etc.
- Culture-Related Products: Encompasses clothing, helmets, equipment, and accessories for motorcycle tours and outdoor activities, models, ornaments, modification accessories, motorcycle clubs, motorcycle sports and competitions, publications, live-streaming, and relay services.
- General Fuel Motors: Covers general gasoline (diesel) engines, generator sets, water pump units, multifunctional agricultural machinery, etc.
- Maintenance Products: Includes special tools and machinery for manufacturing and repairing cycles, lubricants, etc.
- Motorcycle Technology and Services: Includes motorcycle ride and tour operators, tour destinations, financial institutions, delivery and express services, e-commerce platforms, industrial design companies, and R&D achievements.
- Livestream E-commerce: Includes video e-commerce platforms, account operations service providers, and supply chain service companies.
- Exhibits that do not fall within the exhibition’s defined scope as set by the Organizing Committee are not allowed. Fake or substandard products that infringe on intellectual property rights, as well as dangerous or unsafe exhibits, are strictly prohibited. If any such items are discovered, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to demand their immediate and unconditional removal at the exhibitor’s expense.
Article 3 RATES AND SERVICES
The rates, calculated per square meter or per unit, cover the cost of leasing the exhibition space and include the following services, as well as additional events organized by the Organizer as part of the exhibition program:
- Inclusion of company information in the official catalog and on the website
- Exhibitor passes
- Daily cleaning services
- Public security
- Taxes
- Shell Scheme, which includes: U-shaped panels, the company’s name on the fascia board, two spotlights, one electrical socket, carpeting, one information counter, one garbage bin, and two chairs.
Article 4 PARTICIPATION APPLICATION AND ADVANCE DEPOSIT
All applications for participation must be submitted using the designated form. The application form should be completely filled out by an authorized person, sealed, and submitted to the Organizer along with copies of the following documents: Company Business License, Trademark Registration Certificate, Patent Certificate (if available), Quality Certificates, and Production License (for motorized vehicles or other special products).
If an exhibitor is participating on behalf of another company, they must present the original Authorization Letter.
The stand application form must be submitted to the Organizer, Chongqing Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., no later than July 30, 2024.

A deposit equal to 50% of the total stand rental charges must be paid within 7 days after submitting the application. After this date, applications will be processed subject to space availability. If a reservation is invalid, the advance payment will be refunded. Applications submitted without the required deposit will be rejected and considered not submitted.
Submitting the application form indicates unconditional acceptance of the General Regulations. By signing the application form, the exhibitor agrees to participate in the event in the assigned area, in accordance with Article 11, and to fully accept the General Regulations and the rules concerning stand fittings, fire prevention, safety, insurance obligations, and any other supplementary provisions issued by Chongqing International Expo Center. By signing the application form, the Exhibitor also consents to the collection and processing of the company and/or personal data submitted to CIMAMotor.
Article 5 PAYMENT TERMS AND CANCELLATION
- Companies authorized to participate in the event must pay the remaining balance by August 30, 2024. Only exhibitors who have made full payment will be admitted to the event.
- Companies that fail to pay the balance by the specified date without justification will forfeit their right to participate, and the advance payment will not be refunded. Additionally, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to seek compensation for any actual losses (including expected profit loss) resulting from the company’s breach of contract. The exhibitor also agrees to be liable for the actual losses (including expected profit loss) incurred by the Organizing Committee due to the contract breach, except in cases of force majeure affecting the exhibitor.
- Any cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Organizer; otherwise, the Organizing Committee will withhold 50% of the advance payment as a penalty.
- These rules also apply if the exhibitor relinquishes their assigned space. If the event is canceled due to the fault of the Organizing Committee, CIMAMotor will refund the amounts paid by the exhibitor company, and the exhibitor company will waive any further claims for additional compensation for direct or indirect contractual or extra-contractual damages.
Article 6 EXHIBITS AND EXIT VOUCHERS
- The Exhibitor must provide the Organizer with a list of exhibits before the exhibition begins.
- No exhibits or other items are allowed outside the designated stand area. The exhibitor must compensate the Organizer for any losses or damages caused by delays or damage to the exhibition venue.
- “Exit Vouchers” will be issued to exhibitors who have completed full payment in the afternoon of September 16, 2024.
- The preparation and submission of an “Exit Voucher” is required whenever materials are removed from the venue.
Article 7 OBLIGATIONS AND PROHIBITIONS
Each Exhibitor may only display products they manufacture or products from companies they officially represent. Exhibitors representing multiple trademarks may exhibit these products in a single stand.
CIMAMotor reserves the right to request a letter of appointment verifying distribution rights in the area, particularly if multiple exhibitors claim to represent the same company.
Exhibitors are prohibited from displaying trademarks or distinctive marks of other companies, showcasing goods, or distributing promotional materials related to trademarks and companies not listed in the official guide application form.
Each Exhibitor is responsible to CIMAMotor and third parties for managing their assigned stand during the event and during setup and dismantling periods. Exhibitors must ensure their stand is staffed and maintained adequately furnished throughout the event’s duration.
Exhibitors must ensure that their exhibits and packaging do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
The noise level of any booth must not exceed 70 dB, with a maximum of 85 dB allowed for performances and activities approved by the Organizing Committee. Loudspeakers must be directed inward. If an exhibitor’s use of speakers disturbs other stands, the Organizing Committee can request corrective action. If the booth fails to comply, the Organizing Committee may issue a “penalty sheet” and withhold the booth’s deposit as deemed necessary.
I We strongly urge Exhibitors to adhere to the rules outlined above to maintain a professional and disturbance-free environment during the exhibition.
If an Exhibitor plans to organize performances or other entertainment for the public beyond merely displaying products within their area—such as shows, promotional activities, or lectures—they must notify the Organizer by August 15, 2024, and submit a detailed event proposal.
CIMAMotor reserves the right to prevent Exhibitors from holding unauthorized events during the exhibition or managing events in a way that deviates from the initially approved plan.
THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
- Assigning or subleasing the allocated display area to third parties, even for free.
- Allowing exhibits and exhibition equipment to block passages or safety exits during the exhibition.
- Smoking or using open flames in indoor display areas or areas marked with “No Smoking” signs.
- Using or displaying flammable, explosive, or other dangerous materials.
- Making changes or additions to the standard booth structure, including nailing or drilling holes that damage the display boards and equipment.
- Altering the color or shape of the fascia board and carpet without authorization.
- Unauthorized power connections from other booths or exhibition hall facilities, or exceeding the booth’s standard power capacity.
- Giving free gifts or red envelopes to attendees.
- Parading indoors with signs, riding electric vehicles or self-balancing scooters, or distributing promotional materials or selling items near other booths.
- Engaging in fights or physical altercations.
- Withdrawing from the exhibition early.
- Damaging the exhibition hall’s floor or other facilities, which will result in compensation based on the prices announced by the exhibition hall.
Article 8 Technical Regulations
- Exhibitors are required to strictly comply with all relevant regulatory provisions designed to protect the health and physical safety of workers during all activities related to the trade fair event, including setting up the stand, managing the exhibition, dismantling the stand, and any other related activities.
- Exhibitors must also adhere to the Technical Regulations established by CIMAMotor and Chongqing International Expo Center and ensure that these regulations are followed by all contractors working on their behalf during the stand’s assembly and disassembly, as well as any other associated activities.
- The Technical Regulations are an integral part of the General Regulations, distributed alongside them, and include precautionary measures related to exhibition safety (such as fire prevention and electrical systems). They exclude compliance with specific safety regulations for activities subcontracted by the Exhibitor to contractors (stand assembly, disassembly, and related activities).
- All questionnaires provided to each Exhibitor must be completed and returned by the specified deadlines. Non-compliance with the Technical Regulations may result in the immediate termination of utilities to the stand and the exclusion of the Exhibitor from future editions of the exhibition.
- Exhibitors are required to appoint one or more Managers for their assigned stand, responsible for ensuring compliance with accident prevention regulations throughout the exhibition. This appointment must be communicated to the Organizer before the event begins and before any workers or materials are allowed access to the venue.
- Furthermore, by signing the General Regulations, Exhibitors agree to adhere to all applicable regulations governing the setup of their stand and any systems or equipment within it.
- Exhibitors and their construction workers must fully comply with all relevant regulations and coordinate with the venue’s inspection staff during stand construction. They will be held responsible for any damages resulting from non-compliance with these regulations.
- The Organizer shall not be liable for any restrictions or conditions affecting stand construction, assembly, finishing, modifications, dismantling, or the arrangement and removal of exhibits, nor for the quality of services provided by the venue owner or any other third parties.
Article 9 Other Regulations and Reminders
- Please bring the following documents to the Organizing Committee office at the Chongqing International Expo Center for registration: a photocopy of the booth fee payment invoice, the completed and stamped “Confirmation of Exhibitor Regulations,” and the “Exhibition Safety Responsibility Letter.” You will then receive your exhibition and vehicle cards.
- All requests for additional electricity, water, and gas must be submitted to the exhibition management authority.
- No fee waivers will be provided for any unused portions of the shell scheme configuration.
- Ensure that the power supply to booth facilities is turned off at the end of each exhibition day. Any consequences resulting from failure to disconnect the power supply will be the exhibitor’s responsibility.
- The exhibitor acknowledges and accepts the commitments outlined in the Exhibition Safety Responsibility Letter.
- All safety responsibilities related to the booth, including but not limited to booth structure safety, fire safety, security, power safety, construction safety, and activity safety, are the responsibility of the exhibitor.
Article 10 Insurance
- CIMAMotor has Public Liability Insurance. However, during all periods, CIMAMotor, including its directors, trustees, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, will not be liable for any injuries sustained by the Exhibitor, their employees, agents, contractors, invitees, members of the public, or any other individuals.
- CIMAMotor will also not be responsible for the safety of any items brought into the exhibition by the Exhibitor, their employees, agents, contractors, members of the public, or any other individuals.
- Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage, including but not limited to insurance for their exhibits or other goods. This coverage should include protection against loss or damage due to fire, water, theft, or accidents, as well as any damage caused to the venue by the Exhibitor, their employees, agents, contractors, invitees, members of the public, or any other individuals.
- The Organizer, including its directors, trustees, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, will not be liable for any injuries to the Exhibitor, their employees, agents, contractors, invitees, members of the public, or any other individuals.
- If requested by the Organizer, the Exhibitor must provide proof of adequate insurance coverage.
- Exhibitors must ensure they are fully insured with public liability and comprehensive protection. Insurance coverage should start when the Exhibitor first enters the exhibition hall and continue until all exhibits have been properly removed to the Organizer’s satisfaction.
Article 11 CARDS FOR EXHIBITORS AND TICKETS FOR TRADE VISITORS
Stands will be allocated based on the following priority order:
- 1st Group: Member companies of the China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycles.
- 2nd Group: Associated companies of motorcycle associations or institutions from co-organizing countries.
- 3rd Group: Other companies.
Within each group, priority will be given based on the payment date.
Special requests regarding exhibition space and the preference for non-binding open sides, as submitted by the Exhibitor in a formal written request, will be considered based on space availability.
CIMAMotor reserves the right to modify stand assignments, including changes to stand layouts, sizes, groupings, subdivisions, or removals. In such cases, CIMAMotor will promptly notify the affected Exhibitor(s) in writing. The affected Exhibitor(s) may choose to accept the revised arrangement or cancel their participation.
If the Exhibitor decides to cancel due to these changes, CIMAMotor will only refund the amount paid by the Exhibitor. The Exhibitor(s) will forfeit any claims for additional compensation, including damages or lost profits.
Article 12 OFFICIAL CATALOGUE
The catalogue is a specialized service for exhibitors. Exhibitors must complete all information on the Catalogue Collection Form accurately. CIMAMotor will not be liable for any errors, omissions, or format changes that occur during this process.
Article 13 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Exhibitors must ensure that all exhibits, exhibit packaging, promotional materials, catalogues, and any software or hardware used for on-site presentations comply with applicable laws and regulations and do not infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
Representatives from national intellectual property rights management institutions will be present at CIMAMotor to handle complaints from exhibitors regarding intellectual property rights infringements. This is to protect the legitimate interests of exhibitors and intellectual property rights holders according to national laws and regulations.
Article 14 OTHERS
To facilitate the effective management of the exhibition, the Organizer reserves the right to issue additional regulations and instructions beyond those outlined in the “General Regulations.” All such supplementary written instructions are considered part of the “General Regulations” and are binding on all Exhibitors. Any disputes related to the interpretation, implementation, or termination of this Agreement will be exclusively handled by the Chongqing court with jurisdiction.
