Day 1: (Pakistan) – Kunjerab – Tashkurgan County(China), 100km, 1.5 hours

Pakistan’s immigration office in Soest opens at 9 am, then you can start the exit process, so we recommend that you arrive in Soest one day in advance.

You will arrive Kunjerab port around lunch time, military will check your car. There will be military people accompany you to Tashkurgan County. Your guide will wait you there.

Important: can’t camping outside or sleeping in the car! you need leave your car in customs department for one night, when our staff finish customs process in Kashgar the next day, then you can take out your car.

Day 2: Tashkurgan County – Kashgar, 300km, 6-7 hours or stay one more night in Tashkurgan

Finish the rest of the border procedures. Continue your drive heading kashgar on karakoram highway. Arrive Kashgar in the very late afternoon if everything goes smoothly, maybe 21:00-22:00 Beijing time, check-in your hotel. Or you need to stay in Tashkurgan county  for one more night.

Visit opportunity: Karakul lake and local village.

Overnight: Seman Hotel in Kashgar

Day 3: Kashgar

Wait for Chinese driver license and number plate.

Visit opportunity: local Market , the Mosquee Idkar, Abakh Hodja Tomb etc.

Other: Shopping opportunity and Petrol Station

Overnight: Seman Hotel in Kashgar

Important: can’t camping outside or sleeping in the car!

Day 4: Kashgar – tourgart – (Kyrgyzstan), 180km, 3 hours

Get Chinese driver license and number plate, departure after Breakfast, drive to 60km to tourgart customs, finish the customs and border Procedures, then drive 120km to the border, say goodbye to china.

Option for exit border: Irkeshtam Pass
